Make growing easier
Our beds lift the garden to a more comfortable height, helping reduce bending, weeding and the space needed to get started.
About Beanies Backyard
We turn unwanted timber into easier ways to grow.
Beanies Backyard is a Toowoomba small business making comfortable-height garden beds from recycled pallet timber. Our purpose is simple: help more people enjoy growing their own while giving useful timber a second life.
Local and hands-onOur why
Growing your own should feel possible.
A garden can give you fresh food, a reason to slow down and the satisfaction of watching something grow.
But traditional gardening does not work for everyone. Bending, weeds, limited space or renting can make it harder to begin. At the same time, strong and useful pallet timber is regularly discarded.
We bring those two problems together. By turning carefully selected, heat-treated pallets into raised beds at a comfortable height, we make home growing easier while keeping good timber in use.
What guides us
Useful, local and made to be enjoyed.
Give timber purpose
We select suitable used pallets and recycle their timber into something useful instead of letting it become waste.
Keep it personal
Every bed is built by hand in Toowoomba, and we help each customer choose the right bed and delivery option for their space.
From discarded to growing
Every bed starts with timber worth saving.
We inspect every pallet, do not use chemically treated pallets and select only heat-treated, international-grade pallets suitable for a second life.
The useful pieces are cut, assembled and lined by hand. The marks, grain and colour naturally vary, so every finished bed carries a little of its former life into your new garden.
